King Richards Faire

Going under the bridge in Boston on the way to the faire

Taking pictures of myself through the mirror

One of the many shows they have

A Liger. The thing was fucking huge! I wish i could have snuggled him :-D

Getting a great view from the shoulders of her father. Kind of jealous. I didn't have such a great view.

Let the joust begin!

SWORD FIGHT!!

I feel like i haven't updated my blog in a while, but to fill you guys in.

I hate my job because my manager sucks, I wouldn't be surprised if tonight i ended up walking out. Maybe my next blog post will be a rambling on how much he likes to take it up the ass and how I left with a bang, aka hit him in the nuts, gave him the finger and walked out.

I got my first few jobs as a photographer so hopefully one day i will be making money on my own terms and not have to worry about bosses who play favorites and don't know how to do their jobs. One of them I'm doing as a favor for a friend, but it works out for me because i can use the pictures in a portfolio for future job opportunities. The other one is going to be a family photo session sometime in December which I'm getting paid for, i don't know how much but since i have no experience i feel bad charging anything at all. She insisted, so i gave in. The one for my friend is a wedding and that should be a lot of fun.

I never thought of making money as a photographer but I've always loved taking pictures and it would be nice to have my own business and create my own schedule. Plus for a beginner, i don't think I'm half bad. I'll only grow as an artist and am looking forward to seeing what i can accomplish.

I hope you guys liked the pictures from the faire and that everyone is having a great weekend!

  2. I <3 the Ren Faire. I never get to go anymore, though... I'm always working or some stupid thing whenever I get a chance to go. Looks like you had an awesome time, though! Kudos on starting your photography work, too!

  6. These photos are sick Kayleigh. I love photography myself and just bought a DSLR, holla. On a different inappropriate note, the first picture with the liger and his trainer with the chain, I can't help but notice his trainer has the o face of receiving an incredible blow job. Whoopsie.
