New idea: Stay at home girlfriend.

Every day i find myself not wanting to work. I love waitressing and having a significant amount of money in my pocket from just one nights work, but i would honestly rather be home.

Desk jobs don't suit me, I need to be moving around and make myself feel productive. I get bored so those jobs never last over a year.

This is why i have a new dream. A dream of being a stay at home girlfriend.

Most people i talk to always say the idea of not working seems great, for a while, but in the long run would end up missing it.

Fuck that!

I would never miss it.

Picture coming home from a long days work. All you want to do is relax and not have to worry about anything. Leave all your work troubles behind. And you can!

Doesn't it sound like you would be living the dream too?

I cant go bragging about my organization skills or willingness to clean, but who wants to do more work when they get home? Or in my case, before i go into work.

The only activity I have motivation for before work is drinking. Tequila shots? Why not? It can only make me happier. Who doesn't love a friendly waitress?

If I was to be a stay at home girlfriend I would get out of bed early, drink some coffee and get to being all domesticated and shit.

Wash and fold the laundry, clean the dishes, and the house from top to bottom. You will get distracted by how sparkly, shiny, clean our apartment is. By the time my boyfriend gets home he won't have to worry about a thing.

He could sit and play nerd games while i cook him dinner and prepare a nice healthy lunch for his next hard day at work. Delivering him energy drinks and even grocery shop, by myself.

I wont even get into what happens to me at the grocery store right now.
That's a whole other blog post.

Wouldnt it be nice? Nice to come home and not have to worry about stressing yourself out with household chores? Its like having your own personal maid you get to have sex with? How would you lose out on that deal?

And we could make time for those cheesy couple dinner parties you see on television. Ive always wanted to do that but just never had the time.

My boyfriend gets out of work, brings me to work and then by the time i get home all we both want to do is sleep. Our alternating schedules suck. This plan will help us spend quality couple time with each other and in the long run only better our relationship.

Maybe it would even give me some time to better myself as a photographer and help the cash flow getting paid for something I would do for free anyway.

Oooh the possibilities.

Now only to pitch it to the BF and hopes he sees it through my eyes.

He always says a woman's place is in the kitchen. Now he can have his damn sammich ready and waiting, to put all of its deliciousness in his mouth.

King Richards Faire

Going under the bridge in Boston on the way to the faire

Taking pictures of myself through the mirror

One of the many shows they have

A Liger. The thing was fucking huge! I wish i could have snuggled him :-D

Getting a great view from the shoulders of her father. Kind of jealous. I didn't have such a great view.

Let the joust begin!

SWORD FIGHT!!

I feel like i haven't updated my blog in a while, but to fill you guys in.

I hate my job because my manager sucks, I wouldn't be surprised if tonight i ended up walking out. Maybe my next blog post will be a rambling on how much he likes to take it up the ass and how I left with a bang, aka hit him in the nuts, gave him the finger and walked out.

I got my first few jobs as a photographer so hopefully one day i will be making money on my own terms and not have to worry about bosses who play favorites and don't know how to do their jobs. One of them I'm doing as a favor for a friend, but it works out for me because i can use the pictures in a portfolio for future job opportunities. The other one is going to be a family photo session sometime in December which I'm getting paid for, i don't know how much but since i have no experience i feel bad charging anything at all. She insisted, so i gave in. The one for my friend is a wedding and that should be a lot of fun.

I never thought of making money as a photographer but I've always loved taking pictures and it would be nice to have my own business and create my own schedule. Plus for a beginner, i don't think I'm half bad. I'll only grow as an artist and am looking forward to seeing what i can accomplish.

I hope you guys liked the pictures from the faire and that everyone is having a great weekend!

The beauty in a picture

So I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure i mentioned that my boyfriend finally bought that camera I've been talking about getting, a Nikon D5100. Ever since i opened the package I've been learning as much as I can, with the attention span i have, which is about zero.

I chose to watch the DVD because reading a manual is way to much work for my brain, it gets tired when there is to much thinking involved. I have medication for that, but it only works so well.

Any who...I live right by the water and being surrounded by so much beauty there is always a moment to stop and snap a photo. I've been trying to use as much time as possible for taking as many pictures as i have time for, playing around with as many camera functions i can remember learning about in the video.

So far my favorite is the selective color tool.

As i said, i am still learning so i'm sure ill find more settings and effects to play around with. If anyone is in the advice giving mood who is more skilled in photography than i am, i would love to hear from you!

To update you on my life, my godson came home with his mother today and i got snuggle him for a whole hour before i had to give him away to another visitor. He's the cutest little chunky peanut ever and is already so well behaved. While i was holding him he stared at me, eyes wide open for the first half hour and then passed out quietly in my arms while their dog rested his head on the babies belly looking at his new best friend.

You can already tell he is going to watch and make sure no harm comes to him, what a good pup.

I can't wait until he's old enough for me to teach him how to annoy his parents. I'm sure they're going to be sooo happy they chose me to be in there babies life for the rest of...well...ever. At least they know I'm going to shower him with love and that's all that matters.

Now i will leave you with some pictures i have taken with my brand new camera! :-)

There is a dragon in my fire

So this has been my morning so far...

I wake up and bump into the corner of my burrow with my crotch, so now it feels like Mrs. Pacman is trying to chew her way through my ovaries. Its a great feeling.

Then i walk towards the bathroom and my lovely cats spilled water all over the tiled floor, so i slip and fall on my ass. Now my ass hurts. And this pain is making me want to drink that one beer that's in my fridge and possibly smoke a joint. But I cant because I have to work in a few hours and I'm almost positive my boss wouldn't appreciate that.

I would love to do dishes but we have no dish soap, hopefully those stupid fruit flies don't come back. Ew. Guess who is hitting the dollar store tomorrow? This girl! The dollar store they recently built in town is fucking amazing because everything is actually a dollar. I do my shopping there before going to the grocery store because there's a lot shit i can get at that place for much cheaper than Market Basket.
--------------------------------------------------
Well last night i went to my dads, my brother was supposed to be there to borrow my dads car for the weekend but he ended being late so i didn't get to see him. He likes to blow me off because he doesn't really love me.

It ended up being a good little trip though, i got to hang out with my dad and we practiced singing together for the first time in ages. He used to live in this cabin the next town over, my friends and I would go there all the time to watch Red Sox games, sit around a fire play music and chill. I miss those days, but singing with my dad last night brought back good memories.

Does that look like the face of a killer?
We recorded it, and it wasn't bad for the first time singing together in almost a year, but we decided to eventually try and perfect it, make it YouTube worthy.

I love talking to my Dad about artsy things, he is the most supportive person in my family when it comes to my music and all that jazz. Whenever i show him something i drew, took a picture of or when i sing with him he always praises how talented i am, it makes me want to go on practicing and try to make myself better so he can be even more proud.

I get most of my artistic ability from him, everyone in my family is "right" brained, but my dads interests are more similar to mine. He takes photographs, paints, draws, sings in a band, pretty much everything i love doing and he is great at all of it.

It was really cute because as we were singing, my dads dog Sidney, decided to come sit on the couch with us and stick her face in my face like she wanted to join. I love her, I swear she is some sort of pitbull mix but my dad refuses. I dont understand why, its not like she is going to eat your face...she might eat your dogs face, if its a small dog, but other than that she may lick you to death. You just have to let her know who is boss and my dad is good at that until he lets her go for a minute and another dog attacks her.

We went to the pier the other day, Sidney was minding her own business when some stupid little rat dog came over and bit her. I only caught the end of the fight but before i got to her it sounded like she was eating the little dog for dinner,  fuck that, the little shit should have picked on someone his own size, fuckin rat dogs. I would have done the same thing if i was Sid. The little dog was fine, but it sucked for Sidney because some people are already afraid of her.

Then after my dads, Tom and I came home drank a couple beers and had a dragon fire. That's right, a dragon fire. Don't be jealous. Actually, be jealous dragon fires only come out to there most faithful allies.

This picture isn't photoshoped or anything, i took it with my IPhone to put on facebook so i could update my status like "omg were having a fire, and your not! hahaha." but then i looked and it was a dragon and i was like "oh shit, check out this dragon fire! Its awesome!"

If you can't see the dragon in the fire, then aparently you aren't ready for the dragon, and I'm sorry. Not everyone can handle what comes with him, hes a very complicated being.

Well anyway, now i should probably do my makeup and get ready for work before i get distracted by something else funner than getting ready for work, like twitter or facebook...or even just being outside since I've been a hermit lately. Its been kind of cold and upsetting, its good for night time fires though because the bugs don't come out to eat my boyfriend as much as they do in the summer time. Okay well until next time...Good Bye.

Expectations

So I'm sitting here watching true blood thinking about what to write and their really isn't much to say. Well there is a lot i could write about, but I'm not sure if i want to or how i want to put it.

I've been really interested in drawing and taking pictures lately, like I've said in previous posts i wish to buy a new camera, but good things come with patience and I'm going to need a lot of patience before i can afford to buy a camera good enough for my standards.

My friend Patt and I were talking about this the other day, how anything we do needs to be good enough to "wow" people. We don't want our presence to be ordinary. You only live once, why not make a difference, make a name for yourself. Whether it be in a blog, on YouTube, becoming president, acting on television or just making a difference in the lives of everyone you meet.

Which is why i hold high standards for everyone around me, and myself.

If i expect something of you and you dont excede my expectations, im going to be dissapointed, because im a strong believer in people and passions. No matter what your passion is, i believe you should do it as best as you can and as long as your satisfied with your best, and that should be enough.

Not that i take my own advice. Well..i guess i do, to point. I only want to show people my best, so anything i ever work on i always find the flaws and make it the reason i dont make it public knowledge. I scare myself with the littlest thing and make it the reason not to pursue anything i believe is out of reach. When in reality, its probably only a fingers-length within reach.

Maybe one day you will see me on stage performing in front of Millions of people, but until then ill show of my creativity through these pictures and drawings Ive taken, that i think are good enough for people to see.

Some of these are pictures during and after Hurrican Irene hit my town. It wasn't as bad here as other places, but i couldnt capture even close to the size of the actual waves

Water on the boulevard
A sketch i did of my cat when he was a kitty
My sunflowers., i wish i took better care of them
